I played at the Hustler last night, haven't been there in a while so I thought it may make a change.

Larry Flint has moved his table to the corner of the room perhaps for more privacy. Last night his game was going - $2,000/$4,000 stud (high) and there was a crew filming the event. There were some notable players in the game.

Seat 1 - Doyle Brunson
Seat 2 - Phil Ivey
Seat 3 - Jennifer Harmon
Seat 4 - Larry Flint
Seat 5 - Johnny Chan
Seat 6 and 7 were two gentleman whom I did not recognize.

I guess my two questionas are

1. What was the purpose of filming the game?, and
2. Whose money was on the table?

there was a similar shoot at the commerce a few weeks ago. I think it is for a discovery channel special. as far as I know, all the players you listed play with their own money.

When I was at the commerce a few weeks ago I was told that the History Channel was filming something about poker and they were interviewing all the great players.

I have no idea if this is true.

The 7th player was likely Thor Hansen, a Norwegian Pokerhorse of Flints.

Isn't this the definition of "poor game selection"? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd have to agree. But I think his bankroll can handle the swings. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
