Is there a Magic way to figure out All-In Pots?

It's so easy on the computer but in home games when 2 or 3 people go all-in it can get crazy.

Is there a proper way to figure out the pot with multi All-ins?? ANY tricks?

Leave all bets in front of players.

Start with the smallest stack.

Take equal chips off each player, leaving their change in front of them.

Take smallest stack that is now in front of players.

Repeat.
