What is a "Crying Call"?

Can anyone explain what a "crying call" is?

A call on the river, normally with a hand that you're loathe to let go of, when you're sure you're beat. Normally done 'just in case' your opponent has been bluffing.

An example would be a call on the river with a hand such as AA where an opponent has been playing back at you on a board containing, say, 2 Queens. Your pretty sure he has a queen, but you might make a crying call if the pot is big (which it probably would be after your initial raising).

You have a good hand, but you're pretty sure that you're beat. An example would be that it appears obvious that your opponent has made a flush, but you call because there's a small chance he's bluffing.
