First, let me preface this by saying again great (stolen) idea, Jay!, while a ton of work I think this is exactly what this forum needs. There's going to be a ton of hands on the forum for everyone to analyze, but I think the benefits far outweigh than the time spent.

George w had a table that got shorthanded in these HH's, I'll put them aside at the end. FWIW, the full table was fairly aggressive pre-flop, with the majority of hands being raised (usually $3 or $4).

Hand #1

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (8 handed)

UTG ($49.40)
UTG+1 ($307.72)
MP1 ($54)
Hero ($50)
CO ($41.79)
Button ($44.15)
SB ($49)
BB ($58.72)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG raises to $4, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, Hero calls $4, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls $3.

Flop: ($12.50) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, UTG bets $6, Hero calls $6, BB folds.

Turn: ($24.50) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
UTG bets $39.4 (All-In), Hero calls $39.40.

River: ($103.30) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $103.30

Results in white below: <font color="white">
UTG shows Jh Js (one pair, jacks).
Hero shows Ac Ks (one pair, kings).
Outcome: Hero wins $103.30. </font>

I like just calling with position pre-flop, others may disagree. On the flop I'd be inclined to raise against unsophisticated party players, as I don't think there's value in an overcall or keeping players in. Worked out perfectly, though, as he kept the raiser in the lead and got his stack.

Hand #2

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed)

Button ($310.92)
SB ($81.50)
Hero ($100.90)
UTG ($19)
MP ($48.50)
CO ($51.72)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG folds, MP folds, CO folds, Button raises to $5, SB folds, Hero calls $4.

Flop: ($10.50) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, Button bets $6, Hero raises to $20, Button calls $14.

Turn: ($50.50) 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
Hero bets $45, Button folds.

Final Pot: $95.50
<font color="#990066">Main Pot: $50.50, won by Hero.</font>
<font color="#990066">Pot 2: $45, overbet by Hero.</font>

I think the pre-flop call (out of position) and checkraise-bluff on the flop are pretty questionable (the flop play is more a matter of taste and reads) , but that seven bailed our hero out nicely

Hand #3

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed)

BB ($50.30)
UTG ($49)
MP ($74.85)
CO ($78.35)
Hero ($79.25)
SB ($48.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG folds, MP folds, CO folds, Hero raises to $4, SB folds, BB calls $3.

Flop: ($8.50) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($8.50) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
BB bets $4, Hero calls $4.

River: ($16.50) 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
BB bets $7, Hero raises to $25, BB folds.

Final Pot: $48.50
<font color="#990066">Main Pot: $30.50, won by Hero.</font>
<font color="#990066">Pot 2: $18, overbet by Hero.</font>

This is not a hand I'm comfortable raising pre-flop, but if I did I'd likely bet out on the flop. Bigger bets on the turn and river then seem more natural, and there's a better shot at his stack.

Hand #4

Party Poker Pot-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed)

Button ($47.85)
SB ($60.85)
Hero ($105.20)
UTG ($65.30)
MP ($137.85)
CO ($83.91)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG folds, MP calls $1, CO folds, Button folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($3) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
SB bets $1, Hero calls $1, MP calls $1.

Turn: ($6) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
SB bets $2, Hero folds, MP folds.

Final Pot: $8
<font color="#990066">Main Pot: $6, won by SB.</font>
<font color="#990066">Pot 2: $2, overbet by SB.</font>

This is also a matter of taste, but pair+gutshot is worth $2 on the turn to me with up to eleven clean outs

Hand #5

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (3 handed)

Button ($43.90)
SB ($71.65)
Hero ($92.75)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Button folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($2) 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
SB bets $1, Hero calls $1.

Turn: ($4) K/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
SB bets $4, Hero calls $4.

River: ($12) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero bets $10, SB calls $10.

Final Pot: $32
<font color="#990066">Main Pot: $32, between SB and Hero.</font> &gt; <font color="white">Pot won by SB ($32).</font>

Results in white below: <font color="white">
SB shows 6s 7c (two pair, sevens and sixes).
Hero shows 4d 7d (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: SB wins $32. </font>

I'm sure our hero knows this one wasn't a good call. I know sometimes I look at a HH and wonder what read I was going on... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hand #6

Party Poker Pot-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (4 handed)

SB ($51.30)
Hero ($102.70)
UTG ($56.05)
Button ($89.66)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG calls $1, Button calls $1, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($4) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero bets $3.8, UTG folds, Button folds, SB folds.

Final Pot: $7.80
<font color="#990066">Main Pot: $4, won by Hero.</font>
<font color="#990066">Pot 2: $3.80, overbet by Hero.</font>

Mainly wondering if our hero used the "bet pot" auto-button here, as I didn't see any other instances of betting exactly the pot. It's my opinion using that button gives away information about your hand. Anyone bet this differently, especially shorthanded?

Hand #7

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (3 handed)

BB ($45.15)
Button ($84.15)
Hero ($77.60)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
Button calls $1, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($3) 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks, Button checks.

Turn: ($3) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB bets $2, Button calls $2, Hero folds.

River: ($7) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
BB bets $3, Button calls $3.

Final Pot: $13
<font color="#990066">Main Pot: $13, between BB and Button.</font>

I play very little short-handed NL, but when I do I raise this every time pre-flop

Hand #8

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (3 handed)

SB ($89.25)
BB ($83.15)
Hero ($79.65)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
Hero raises to $4, SB calls $3.50, BB folds.

Flop: ($9) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
SB bets $5, Hero calls $5.

Turn: ($19) 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($19) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero bets $20, SB folds.

Final Pot: $39
<font color="#990066">Main Pot: $19, won by Hero.</font>
<font color="#990066">Pot 2: $20, overbet by Hero.</font>

I definitely bet the turn here, there are cards that kill the action on the river and I want to build a pot. Comments?

Thanks again to Jay! for getting this rolling, and to everyone who is participating.

Hand 1:
if the board was anymore coordinated i would have raised the flop. if a blank fell on the turn i was raising if he bet. my default play is to raise the flop. i guess i was mixing it up a little.

Hand 2:
definitely questionable. i think i did this because it was shorthanded and knew i would have to be defending my blinds a bit. thank god for the turn card!

Hand 3:
i probably have the best hand preflop. might as well raise it and plan on flopping trips. flop, the pots small and i'm giving him a chance to make a second best hand. turn, i would have raised if any other card had come but now i'm definitely giving him one last chance to make a good hand. if he as the king or he hits on the river he'll pay me off. though i probably should have raised more on the river

Hand 5:
top pair's probably good here on the flop though i should have raised because i'm vulnerable to over cards. since i didn't raise the flop i have to raise the turn. my river bet probably wasn't that great. i don't see him calling %60 of the time with hands i beat on that board and the only hand i could bluff him off of is probably a better 7.

Hand 8:
yeah, horrible turn check
