Here's an amusing conversation I had at a Party 3/6 table today...
x: Well I am goona go just got doyle brunsons super system in through amazon . com
y: not much in there about limit.
x: Have you all checked this book out any
N: nope
N: never read it
balki: i like phil hellmuths book the best
x: right I got it specifically for no limit
balki: "play poker like the pros"
x: and yes I also have phils
N: he bugs me so much I refused to buy his book
y: lol. I heard that
h: reading right now Helmuth, that is Not bad
balki: yes hes a jerk, but his book is excellent
N: well maybe I'll check it out at the library or something so he dosn't get any money for it

x: He is alot easier to understand than david skalansky
I guess we dont have to worry about books turning fish into good players...
