Had to laugh at this hand that developed in a Party 30+3 Limit SnG. Tried to convert it but for some reason the converters I tried (bisonbison's and slavic's) don't like it.

The names have been changed to protect the innocent!

For those of you playing $5 & $10 events wondering if there is a big step up in quality at the $30 level please bear in mind that you still meet players like this:

My best guess: A no-limit player who accidentally signed up for a limit tournament.

I did that once several months back, signed into stars just as they were seating a multi LIMIT event. I somehow read NL and jumped in. I quickly realised that it was limit and just kept raising to get out. The poker gods were having a laugh again though and I just kept sucking out on the river.

The serious limit players were getting rightly hacked off with me. Only when I started amassing a healthy chip count and realising it was a satellite to the limit $215 game did I start to try and play (whereupon I started to lose /images/graemlins/smile.gif).

I did make it though, but didn't have the gumption to play, took the tournie dollars and proceeded to give 'em out at a severe rate to all the nice SnG players at $50 level /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
