We need to support sites with lower rake or a rake rebate for the players.

I think I'm the only one supporting the site with a 50% rake rebate. But that's OK, I'm going to be in the new players 1000 buck free roll with only two other people at this rate. I like my odds!

Click on the Choice poker banner here at 2+2, that will take you to it. Thats how I found it.

I just downloaded the software. There are a whopping 12 people on the site. OMG, how in the world and I going to pick which table to sit at?

Yeah, 12 people is about all that you'll see there at peak times during the hourly high hand contest. Getting half your rake back isn't very important to 99.9% of the players.

Go figure.

I try, but I am not available to play at the times people are on...I want to help the site, but there is just never anyone there /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I hear ya. Biggest problem any new site has is getting together a game 24/7. 8 to midnight est seems to be OK for games, after midnight forget about it. Every new site I check into is pretty much like this. There must be some way to attract people. Maybe some type of gimmick or jackpot, who knows.

exactly. another problem is that the first people to new sites are always experienced players. how else would they know about it unless they were part of the poker community? so its not even worth a 100$ bonus for me to sit in on the only table available with semi pros and pros. the only way i see sitess like this working is to give 20-50$ away to people to come check out the site like GC did and Pacific is doing now. its almost like getting a whole bunch of props at 20$ per person.

Silybum -

We get the idea. You don't like paying rake. WE GET IT.

Good points Scott. I also wonder if building the site from the bottom up might be a good idea also. Get tables full somehow at the micro limits on a regular basis and see if it trickles upwards from there. Giving away a few bucks to do this initially might not be a bad way to go. You should email your ideas to Choices management.
