Does anyone let off on the turn here?

When he caps the turn, what are you putting him on that you decided to bet into him on the river?

Practice some handreading. It will help.

I'd probably call the raise on the turn and check call the river. If I do 3-bet the turn and he caps it, I would then check call the river.

At the flop, I think you are probably against some sort of pocket pair. When he raises the turn (not afraid of the Queen), you can limit it down to KK, QQ, 66, 55, or 22 (only ahead of KK). I have had a lot of problems with overpairs in these 2/4 games, and that is how I adjusted my strategy. It hasn't worked though.

This seems to be a big difference between limit and NL, playing the overpairs. Granted you did have him until that turn.

By the way, wtf was UTG+2 doing?

I guess he threw me off when he capped the flop and then the turn, because I figured him on an overpair. I didnt expect him to catch the Q, and i figured his preflop cap was implying that he had AA KK or QQ.

I gambled and took my chances that it wasn't QQ, but KK.

And i'm not sure what UTG+2 was doing... haha.

Thanks for the help.
