Hi SS,

Nolan Dalla has written a book on Stu. It was going to be called "Behind the Shades". The last I heard, the name of the book has been changed from that title (the new name I don't recall).

Anyway, from my understanding, they were shooting for a Feb 2004 publishing date at one point. I don't see it at my local boostore yet but I would think it would be out in the next few months.

I'm sure when it comes out you'll see plenty of posts about it both here (2+2 forums) and on rgp.

You may already know this, but there is a movie in production based on Unger's life. It hasn't been released due to problems nobody seems to be willing to explain.

Anyway, you can see the Trailer here (http://www.stueymovie.com).

It looks cool to me.

Hi William,

That movie is not in production. It was done a while ago. It showed in Las Vegas last year at the Palms. It never got a wide release.

As far as I know, it's not available in DVD yet.

the director(i think) of the film wrote this message on the yahoo fan group.

"Hello patient STUEY fans:
I know everyone's eager to know when a release of STUEY will happen.
The answer is:
we don't know yet. Unfortunately, these things take A LOT longer than
we (and you)
would've hoped. However, we will say that STUEY WILL BE RELEASED. How
and when is
still up in the air, but we predict that World Series of Poker might
have a little more
pizzazz next spring....:0]. In the meantime, we plan to try to (sort
of) make it up to
you by putting a couple more clips on the website to keep you
interested... look for
them next week.

Thanks again for your continued support, kind emails, and most of
all...patience. It's
the hallmark of a great poker player, after all....
