Pokerroom 5-max $2-4....don't know if this should be here or in micro...

I'm in the BB with 67o. UTG limps -- he's tricky in one area, never EVER raises his big pairs (or anything, I guess) pre-flop, but otherwise okay player.

All fold to me in the BB, I check.

Flop comes 6-7-K rainbow.

I bet, he calls.

Turn is a 9, putting a 2-flush on the board.

6-7-K-9

I bet, he raises.

I think he can raise here with (in order of likeliness) a lone K, one of his hidden big pairs, a flush draw, a straight draw, or any other 1-pair or 2-pair hand. I don't think he's making a pure move, and I think I'm ahead of a majority of what he's got here.

I 3-bet, he calls.

River is a red 2, no flush, final board 6-7-K-9-2.

I bet, he calls.

Thoughts/comments on all streets appreciated.

I would have played it the same way on every street.

What did he have to beat you? I assume, given your description that he had KK and was scared that you caught your straight?

He flipped 97s for a turned better 2-pair.

Anyone for slowing down on the turn?

An "otherwise OK player" limped UTG with 9-7? This guy isn't tricky, he's clueless.

But it was soooooted!

In those 5-max games, it seems like anything goes.

I raised up 10-10 UTG.

I think 3 called 1 folded.

Flop 8-9-10, turn Q, and 3 tens go down to J5o that called cold. NH.
