BugsBunny and Dylan Wade were good late round picks. I think we're on track here...I haven't read TheGrifter post about any poker but he seems enthused so let's do this thing. Robk's team looks tough, though. Anyone feel like playing a warmup match this weekend? Also, is this limit or NL? I'm pretty much equal at both but just want to know so I can go warmup!

What? This involves Poker..gonna have to read up on that.

I'll play a warm-up match any time on stars. Just let me know when. My limit hold'em HU game is pretty much nonexistant on the moment, but I've played SH a bunch so how hard can it be!

I appreciate the confidence - both from you and from Homer for drafting me.

It's limit - and I *may* be available for some warmups. PM me - not sure of times yet. Stars .02/.04 ? (I like playing there)(If you have a Stars account).

Maybe we should have some official team practices?

Thanks. I was just playing some HU practice with TheGrifter a minute ago. I think we'll rape the other teams.

I'm gonna challenge people in EFnet chatroom for the next few hours. I'll play anyone on stars, party, or TPC.

Robk's team will be a decent challenge, but shouldn't be a problem. Everyone else the only question is how many matches we should spot them to make it fun.

...started the very week Homer began to promote community service among the Stonecutters.

In that same episode he had a flashback, as the formation of "The Ancient and Mystic Society of No Homers" reminded him of the "No Homer's Club" (there was already one Homer in the club, so he couldn't join), which was created during his childhood.

"Why don't those stupid idiots let me in their crappy club for jerks?"

More importantly, as Captain, aren't you "Number One"?

As an aside, is the Royal Sampler a winning hand in the HULA?

This is the type of winning attitude that will carry us to victory. Another way you might have put this is "All of our opponents are nimrods, so how hard can it be!?!"

You mispelt Hopers dude. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

As we say in England,
"You've got two hopes. Bob Hope and no hope. (And Bob Hope's dead.)"

Thanks to ESPN, the whole world is rooting for the nimrods. You're going down.

I think you have us confused with all the other teams - especially yours. I'm still wondering where the competition is going to come from because I just don't see any out there /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well, I managed to get lucky last against daryn in a hard fought but often poorly played match. Tons of lead changes, each person coming back from <100 at least once. Took most of two hours.

How is the team doing?

Is there a list somewhere of complete draft order?

Go Homers!

TTT has not gotten back to me. He had better soon, because I have less and less time to play as the week goes on.. Nice job so far, team.

I don't think it is a coincidence that ever since the Stonecutters disbanded Steve Gutenberg's career has taken a nosedive and the electric car is starting to become popular.
