To all Gaming Club Poker Room players who have been affected by the connectivity, maintenance and technical issues this past weekend, we have recorded each and every post related to this and we are well aware of your frustrations and comments.

However, we're sure you'll agree that putting up a response stating we had technical difficulties is not an adequate answer, so we want to give as much information as we're able to. We understand that this has prompted disappointment and anger from many of you, so we ask you to allow us the opportunity to investigate and put more solutions in place to minimize this in the future.

In the interim, we ask for your patience until we can come back to you with something more substantial. Thank you in advance.

We've suffered some technical and connectivity issues over the past week and many of you have expressed your concerns in regard to this.

We also posted saying that we needed some time to do more investigation into the matter and to take additional precautions to minimize this in the future. We're happy to report that we have an update on what has transpired.

Although unharmed, the Prima Poker has unfortunately been subject to denial of service attacks recently. These attacks vary as far as timing and frequency are concerned and as you are all aware, the purpose is to bring bandwidth to its knees. This is why you've been experiencing connection and stability issues. Coupled with maintenance being done over the last few days you may have experienced service at a lower level than you are accustomed to.

Please let us assure you that our poker servers have not been "hacked" or accessed in any way and all sensitive data remains secure and encrypted.

Prima has put cutting edge defences in place and reviews these on a regular basis. In addition to this, Prima is aggressively adding hardware in order to further strengthen and ensure the resilience of the system to these attacks.

Where we suspect criminal activity, we will take all the necessary measures and will involve law enforcement agencies where possible. None of this will impact on the privacy and security of your information.

In the unlikely event that these criminal acts cause an interruption, however brief in our service, please be assured that there will be no prejudice to the players who are active at the time of the attack. We have ensured that systems protecting the integrity of the games in progress are in place and that players will be no worse off than when their session commenced.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your continued support and patience during this difficult time.
