Hey,

A few possibilities here:

First, this is highly likely to be a legit disconnect. For all you know, they might've folded to your raise, and if they HAD called, you'd have lost, um, ALL your chips. Since you don't know for sure, nothing can really be said. Email party if you think you've got a case, but neither of you could've known the tens would run, so it was just a beat. They happen. Your OPPONENT should be pissed because they'd have taken all your chips had they called.

Second - I don't claim to know all and be a perfect gentleman at the table all the time, but calling someone a "cheap slut" isn't going to help anything.

That's all that needs to be said here.

That's one of the funniest things I have ever heard.

Seems like the other player may have had something against you for some reason.

Play at 'Stars. You disconnect there, your hand gets folded no matter what you have in the pot.

Yeah, I prob should have not said a few of those things towards him, I did send it to party, but we'll see, not expecting a whole lot to happen.

Honestly I didn't really expect much, but this is more than I thought would happen.

Dear Chris,

We appreciate you taking the time to report situations of alleged Disconnect
Protection abuse at PartyPoker.com

Starting with the # that you sent to us, we have performed an investigation that
would allow us to examine thoroughly the account in question; <renofed>

We have looked into these players records and collected the previous hands in
which this player used the Disconnect Protection. Our goal was to look for a
pattern where the player usually disconnects in key moments.

Some of the parameters we use when investigating possible protection abuse:

ý The playerýs cards at the time of disconnection.
ý The playerýs previous action (whether he was betting/raising) and also the
actions of the other players at the time of disconnection.
ý The benefit obtained by a player disconnecting
ý The timing of disconnection
ý A players pattern of disconnections
ý Previous allegations made by other players and/or the system

<font color="red"> </font>

Nonetheless, we have recorded your complaint into the players account and will
keep this investigation on file. In addition, our gaming experts will be
monitoring this playerýs account. If the player does at any time show a pattern
of abuse we will remove his protection. We have sent an email to the player
informing him of the investigation and making him aware that his actions are
being monitored.

We thank you for taking the time to report your suspicions. Keeping the games
honest is our highest priority. If you need any clarifications or have any
questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy
to assist you.

Best regards,

Jada Brown

Stranger things have happened...

And maybe i'm just playing a little devil's advocate, because i've gotten disconnected and run out a straight flush before...i know there's a ton of cheating scumbags out there, but I do my best to not lop off heads before i know someone's guilty.

I should've said "It's entirely possible" this was legit. My bad.

I understand it's possible to disconnect, but my beef is party went from 1 every 24 hrs, to one per SNG, Kinda gives the cheaters more opportunities in my opinion.

Yeah, I've only had one bad moment with that. I'd had a nice tourney very large stack relative to the blinds and got AA. Had some very nice action pre-flop. The flop wasn't scary and the pot was very big and I made a very very large bet at it with about 3 oponents in...and just about the split second I hit bet I disconnected...

Man was that bad news...it took a long long long time to get reconnected and when I did---it turned out everybody had folded to my bet...so instead of taking a huge hit with the no disconnect protection I won the hand. Whew!!!
