I've been playing on UB for a while but thought I would post this question to everyone. What's the best internet poker site out there? And why is it the best?

This question gets asked all the time, and my answer is always EmpirePoker (a sister site to PartyPoker). It has the most players and tables, good recurring deposit bonuses, and most importantly, very soft games. It also has a new EPoints frequent player points system. People aren't sure how good it is yet, but it's an additional bonus, so it cannot hurt.

You should be able to get a 20% up to $100 bonus on your first deposit. You may need to use a bonus code or banner ad link to get it though. They are everywhere, including on this site or my site.

After Empire, you may wish to add PokerStars for their giant tournaments.

Then you may wish to add Paradise for their clean software and some unusual games.

Good luck!

Party has average soft players - certainly not the fishiest anymore but a amazing amount of games. 39% preflop in 2/4 and slightly higher lower

Intercasino -s slower but they pay you 50 a month for playing 300 hands - preflop 50% in 2/4

Pacific - what can I say 2/4 tp 5/10 60-70% preflop

Absolute - 50% preflop

True Poker is fun - small but 40% preflop

Poker room small 35-40%

UB - one of the tougher rooms 30-35%

Poker Stars - why on earth do people play there 20-25%

Good review webster, Party is down so I downloaded Pacific to check out the games. The first 2 hands at the 2/4 table I'm watching, 9 people saw the flop, wow!

I have Party Poker and Ultimate Bet. Party definitely is the easier game of the two. I only play UB when Party is down, which seems to be happening more often lately.

Has anyone had a problem with having multiple poker site software on their computer?

It depends on what you are looking for. I think 3 main criteria for an internet site are game selection (how good are the games? beatable/fishy?), software (does the software run smoothly and efficiently?), and customer support. Party's game selection is awesome... all limits, tons of selection. On the other hand, the customer service sucks there. Ultimate Bet's software, I think, is much better than Party's and they have better customer service, but the games are generally much tougher and harder to beat.

I used to play only on Party, but about 3-4 months ago, I started playing on the difference sites, using bonuses as incentive to do so. I made quite a bit off the bonuses (in addition to the games), and as a result I also have a much more well-rounded picture of the different kinds of games out there.

Ultimately, Party poker (and empire poker and skins) will be a sure way to make money, but I think you will learn alot from trying out different trustworthy sites.. (at least the top 4 - party, paradise, pokerstars, and ub).

Hope this helps..

No problems here, and I play all over the place (UB, party, empire, intertops, the gaming club, intercasino, paradise, stars, true).

Yeah, but the software is the worst in the business and the games are slow and there is no hand history/notes funtion!

very true - no bells and whistles - the softwre is OK and game speed is not bad at all - it's just that you have so many people playing. Cripes I was in a show down last night with SEVEN PEOPLE and a pair of Queens won it.

The only problem I have with multi site software is when I have paradise open I can not get sound on other sites.

I currently have software from 8 different sites. Have no problems with playing multi sites at the same time. Just the everyday problem that is partypoker and their horrible software and servers. However, it has to be the best site because of the high fish population. It does seem to be getting a little harder though.
