skirting the affiliate issue?

Here is a question that I’m sure people have asked before. What prevents me from becoming an affiliate in order to sign myself up as a player? That way I get all the rake share.

If that’s a problem what would prevent doing this with a friend? My friend becomes an affiliate and I sign up w/ him. I become an affiliate and sign him up. Then just work the money out between the two friends.

Also I heard it was illegal to be an affiliate in the US. Is this true?

Do the 2 of you realize that you are in a gray area and it's possible to get banned for your posts? Specially you Amarillo it sounds like you are asking for someone to affiliate with you and this forum now has zero tolerance. Someone in Houston may have already alerted the Mod....good luck.
