Here's how far I got (SPOILER ALERT)!

plug nose, get tinkle, unplug nose - gets the key from the pot
open door, south - gets you to the room
unlock drawer, get map - gets the map (don't read the map yet)
north
talk to magistrate
read map
north
look nametag, talk to percy
north (percy bites you, gives you plague)
get mop
go through maze (W,W,N,W,N,N,N,E,E,N,E,N,N - they missed a North in the map) use the bread to stave off plague, use the mop to kill the monsters
Once in the new room - eastward
talk to doctor, no you can't wait (cures plague, gives you sucker)
look sucker, look placard, get picture
talk to chef (turns into monster)
give sucker to monster (kills monster)

Now percy shows up...</font>

Weirdly enough like 10 years ago I met the guy who made Adventure. He had a big map thingy of the world on his wall. It was neat.
