After a previous thread on the same subject can I just confirm the Neteller Debit fees. From the horse's mouth: (Neteller fees (https://www.neteller.com/neteller/help_wizard.cfm?action=b3e))

Usage Type USA Canada International
Currency USD $ CAD $ CAD $
Activation Fee FREE FREE FREE
Deposit To NETeller FREE FREE FREE
Withdrawal From
NETeller $2.00 $2.00 (USD) $2.00 (USD)
ATM Cash Advance $1.50 $2.50 $2.93
Point of Sale (POS) $0.75 $1.75 $7.23
Declined ATM/POS $1.00 $0.50 $3.83
Balance Inquiry $1.00 $2.13 $2.13
Statement of Account $1.50 $1.50 $1.50
Dormant Card Charge $5.00* $12.00** $12.00**

So if I (from the UK) put $1000 (say) onto the debit card, and then withdraw it the next day I pay $2.00 (withdrawl from Neteller) + $2.93 (ATM Cash advance fee), total $4.93?

Not totally related to your post, but I notice u are also UK based. I'm having trouble bonus whoring as it is difficult for me to transfer funds between sites.

I accumulated some debt depositing into poker sites in early 2003 learning to play, but am now at a playing level where I can regularly withdraw. At the moment, I have to withdraw this to my credit card (up to the the level of the original deposits). Yesterday I wanted to do the Empire HOTFEB bonus and had withdrawn 1500 pounds from a site to pay-off the months credit card and have some for Empire. For the first time Empire refused my credit card deposit, I then tried depositing with Neteller, but this was also refused. I'm not sure what my next step should be.
Any advice for UK players appreciated. Should I wire money to the sites?

Anyone from the UK use the debit card?

I was tempted a while back, but I use my favourite reliable casino (no fees, excellent exchange rate) to wire my neteller deposit to my UK bank account whenever I feel the need to skim some from neteller.

I would also have concerns at the exchange rate Neteller offers, can't seem to find any info on the site regarding that.

This is correct.

I have used the debit card for a few months now.

I transfer in amounts of $1000 at a time from my neteller account to my debit card and get £998 on my card ($2 charge taken).

I also get charged $2.93 for withdrawing from an ATM in the UK.

As I only use the ATM once or twice a month (you MUST use it at least once a month or you will be charged for not using your debit card), I dont think the charges are too bad. It's an easy and hassle free way of getting to my online money /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Although, they are currently having difficulties with the withdrawal to debit card part of the website right now. They say it should be fixed in a couple of days.

The easiest way for you to get money back into your online accounts is to make a direct deposit into NETellers UK Barclays bank account. They will then credit your NETeller account - and off you go.

There is more information on this from within your NETeller account - I think they credit your account in a matter of mins/hours although I have never used this facility.

In addition I expect there to be further improvements to NETellers services for us "foreign" players in the not to distant future. The observant amongst us will already have noticed the "change currency" link - with NETeller now offering cheques in GBP Euros and CAN$. Although we (UK Europe) cannot link bank accounts as yet this is something we can hopefully expect in the coming weeks.

ALSO (!) if you have your account in GBP you can withdraw £1000 to your debit card per load for a charge of £2. Basically the same, although if you transfer less than £1000 you have effectively been charged more...

All the best - feel free to ask or PM me any questions about the NETeller debit card - I think I probably know more than the average CSR on NETeller front line!

There is actually a US version too for anyone having trouble getting money into Neteller. You can deposit at any Bank of America branch to get into Neteller

I just deposit via neteller then request a bank wire withdrawal. The money shows up 3-5 working days later. I don't know of many that do this, I've heard all Boss Media casinos do, but I haven't tried this with them.

(I'm happy to mention the casino I use, but as I'm a newbie here I don't want to come across as a shill!).
