I'm currently in 3rd at the table with T1105 in chips, leader has T1985... we're the only 2 really involved past the flop here. 9 handed at this point. Blinds are currently
15/30.

I'm MP3 with A /images/graemlins/heart.gif 6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

UTG calls the BB(30), UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, I call, CO folds, button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

FLOP(180): A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

UTG bets 30, MP2 folds, I raise 180 to 210 to go, button calls, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds.

TURN(630): K /images/graemlins/club.gif

I check, button checks.

RIVER(630): I bet 600, button goes all-in, I call.....

Thoughts?????

RESULTS IN WHITE: button had the black aces... sonuvabitch!!!!!!

Hiya Gomez,

I don't think you can get away from this hand. A6s isn't a terrible limping hand in middle position, and when you hit for two pair, you had to play the hand. It was unlucky for you that he had AA, but I don't think you made any serious mistakes here.

I'm not really clear on why you checked the turn. Does a big call make you suspect a set? Or did you worry about aces over kings? Wouldn't he have re-raised you with aces king kicker?

No real reads... still pretty early in the tourney, and I had no idea what this guy could/would do, or what he played like. Plus, being relatively new to NL, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing all of the time.
