33$ 1-table, we're last 3, so we're in the money (50/30/20). Stacks: 9590,3145,765. I'm second. Blinds 100/200, ante 25.

Small stack folds UTG, and big-stack completes on the SB. Big-stack is 75%-maniac, and was the whole game. On the SB he raises me a lot, and limps, about 50-50. I hold AJo, I raise to 1000. Is it too much? too little? Few times he folded to raises, not too often. But now he re-raises me to 1800. So, he probably have something, but it can be anything from 22 to KJ, AT to QJ, and many others. I don't tend to suspect a trap, with this limp-reraise, but who knows.

What is my move, considering, of course, short-stack is very short?

i think its too much considering if you get called and missed youre in alot of trouble. let it go, pick a better spot. this is my opinion from play low limits, lots of maniacs. often times i find myself not being able to let go of AJ AQ AK and dumping too many chips to the guy who called me with 97o.

Since you are waiting for the short stack to bust out, your raise is TOO BIG! 2x or 3xBB at the most, or a just check and you're not in bad shape.

After I put in 1000 (33% of my stack) I'm not happy to give it up for another 800, which leaves me more than the small stack. A call or fold here depending on your gut.
Conservative players would fold.
