Not to gloat, but.... logged on to play my usual SNGs. Site is crashed of course. Decide to kill time by playing $25 NL. In the first fifteen hands, I flop a set, top two pair, and a straight. In all three cases at least two people bet into me on almost every street. I played 15 minutes and cleared $115. Maybe it's time to rethink my SNG strategy....LOL

Exactly, stick to the correct ring game strategy of flopping the nuts, and never play SNG's again.

I don't know why more people don't employ this strategy. It seems better, and less variance, than waiting for blind steal opportunities or going in on "sketchy" situations like flopped Queen high flushes and 2nd nut straights. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
