I recently purchased the winholdem pokerbot to see how well the AI played.... well, all I can tell you is that this is the WORSTE AI bot I have ever seen play.
Do NOT waste your money on this HORRIBLE software!

Here are two different hand histories so you can all see exactly how it plays:

And these are just the beginning. The software is horrific to look at, and plays just as bad. The bot seems to know what hands to play before the flop (although position is questionable), but it has NO CLUE what to do once the flop hits the board.

What ever you do, stay away from this software. You’re better off letting your dog play for you.

I'm sure you bought it just to see how well the AI played.

What if it played really well, would you give these players their money back?

Lol, that is some funny [censored]. Especially love the aggressively played bullets, lol.

You were hoping it would beat 5/10? Good [censored] luck.

Posting your hand histories with your name on it while admitting to using a bot on a public forum is probably not in the top 10 smartest thing you've ever done either.

This is a user id that i created speficically for trying out the bot... I didn't want to risk my own account in case party caught on.

Be sure to send those bot peoples a warm thank you for helping to build my JJ a pot!

I somehow feel like I played it weakly though. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

The 3/6 game is much softer on Party, I'm sure your bot would do better here. Please PM me when you've reserved a seat, tks /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hello,

Here is a link to a post on the 2+2 forum of a player that has admitted to trying out the winholdem poker bot:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=538912&page=0&view=collap sed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1

He claims that he created a new account to try this software out – but I am sure that there must be ways for you to link this to any other account that this player may have had.

I trust that the integrity of the games at Party Poker are of a paramount importance and I expect action to be taken against any player(s) found to be using such software.

Thank you,

XlgJoe

I have to admit this is a pretty funny post.

I can't tell if you are trying to yank everyones chain, or if you are serious. If you are serious it's even funnier.

You buy a bot so you can cheat. It doesn't cheat well enough, so you come on this board to whine how you got ripped off. And then you even post hand histories to prove how badly you got cheated.

You really have to laugh.

I would only consider using the bot "cheating" if i had purchased thier "two player" version.
Having a bot play for you, IMO, is not cheating, it's just lazy. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
The smaller sites are filled with bots run by the companies in order to keep tables going... how is this any different?
The bot has no knowledge of what cards are coming, what anybody else is holding... it just plays a hand according to a set of formulas (which in the case of winholdem, absolutely suck).
Now, if the makers of Wilson's Software Turbo Texas hold'em came out with a bot, I would buy that one in a heart beat.

I'm going to have to agree with the above post. I would love to play against 9 of these bots at my table. That would be awesome.

I made a bot using TTH for more than 2 years ago, it is fully programmable, all you need to do to change it's play is do it via MS Access file or import the TTH profile sheet.
It now operates with various AI technologies.

I am willing to show you V.1 you will be satisfied enough, it weakly uses opponent modeling, the later versions opponent models very well and learns effectively.

To prove that I am legit, you can install the program to see but if you want to continue with it, you'll need a reg code.

I made it for researching strategies only, not commercial but you seem interested so I am making 1 exception. Only 1.

Email me if interested.

He's talking about a bot that can play on internet sites using TTH logic.

Please forgive me for posting this same thing in two threads, but I just don’t understand this and I want to hear what the majority opinion is.

Does everyone not believe the earlier claim that this bot program comes with a Trojan horse? Or does everyone not know yet? Or has it been proven that this claim is false?

(For those who don’t know, a Trojan horse is sort of like a virus. It’s a program on your computer that lets a hacker see your computer. So, if you have it, and are playing on an internet poker room, this hacker can see your cards on his computer monitor.)
