I have been trying to request those emails that give your VIP points (your status) for 4 days now but never receive the email. Anyone else having this problem?

they don't sent any emails anymore...but when you got 5000 points you will get an email that you are a vip member

For what its worth 2 days ago I got my email answered from JAN 19th

I wouldn't worry about it. I've played probably around 2000 raked hands there, and I have 11 VIP points. At that rate, assuming 50 hands/hr at a single table, I need 10 years to get to VIP status.

That's probably why they're not in a hurry to send out those e-mails. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

When they first started sending out those emails, I had 2357 VIP points. Couple weeks later I had 2370 or so. Makes me wonder if when they started the program they went back and gave credit for your entire playing history with them. Cause...everyone seems to be getting points VERY slowly.

Empire's VIP is very, very strange.

About 7 days ago, I made several VIP points requests. I never got the emails.

2 days ago I get an email congratulating me on making it into the VIP club. The email said "We decided to award you 5000 EPoints and to invite you in to our exclusive VIP Club."

Which is weird. I had about 2000 points, and now I have 5136, post-Empire email. Strange.

In the Empire Lobby screen check out:

Options -> VIP

This will display your current VIP points, as of some date that I *think* is usually between 24 and 48 hours behind.

yeah...it's pretty weird indeed.

btw, you don't need to do the e-mail request thing.
there is a 'check vip status' (or something like that) under the options menu.


i also got an e-mail saying i had been awarded 5,000 VIP points.

previously i had started with around 2800 points when i first found out about the program and was at 3000 or so the last i knew.

i checked the status on the options menu and i had
5,000 points.....and they also told me i had received 231 VIP points in the past 30 days.
clearly they seem to have started giving some players their points retroactively or something.


i don't expect to get much of anything with the points and certainly don't expect to qualify among their top 100 players for their freeroll (WPT final i think) because i don't play high enough and i only play 1/2 and 2/4 (with some 10+1 sng's and the occasional multi thrown in).


somebody had posted previously hat empire told them that one of the optionns would be cash-back at $1 per 100 points. so if they give you 5000 points then they are, in the very least, offering you $50 for future withdrawl....which isn't so terrible.will be curious to see what the prizes/gifts you can get when those are announced (if they havent been already...i havent been checking)

Empire VIP is a total joke. You can check your status in the software now tho, I believe its under "options" VIP.

I was at 3318 or something and then the other day I got an email saying the decided to put me at 5K....how nice of them. over 10K hands of 2/4 later I have 5232 points. yay (sarcasm). I think you must get like 1 point for every maximum raked hand you win or something. I dunno if they have an actually formula, or they have a monkey trained to go poop in a cage with everyone who plays at empires name on the floor and if the monkey craps on your slot you get a point.
