I actually downloaded their new software, and now that I've figured out how to turn off avatars, I think it might just be bearable.

I am a frequent pokerroom user. I have been playinbg online since October. I like the graphics but thats about it. I would like to know your feelings on the bots that they use. Also would you recommend moving to anohter site like poker stars or ultimate bet? The new software should be interesting. I downloaded it too as well.

It's available under Settings --> Avatars. Only on the downloadable version however, and not on the flash version.

pokerroom and Ubet bonuses take forever to clear.

But if you're a great 10-20 or higher player, the bonuses are trivial. It's a waste of time chasing down bonuses.

If you're a successful 5/10 player, the pokerroom bonus clears at about $8.50/hr for full ring games, and $11.00/hr for short handed games, or in other words, at about 1BB/hr. I don't think there is a 5/10 limit player in the world for whom an additional 1BB/hr is trivial.
