I went to blockbuster to rent a flick tonight. There’s this bum who’s always outside, and he’s always reading. He never accosts me for change. My first thought was, what a weirdo, why stake out Blockbuster.
Then I thought, how much to videos cost to rent? That’s right, $4.10. How much spare change does everyone walking out of Blockbuster have? That’s right, .90 cents and 17 receipts. Smart bum. He should ask for it. A couple of times I would have given it to him.
Just goes to show you in any business venture, a good idea or product is absolutely worthless without a powerful sales force.
