I think the turn and river are simple enough, but how's the action on the flop? This felt unnatural, raising on this, and even more odd when everyone called. But it reminded me of a hand I saw posted here the other day -- so just before I hit the raise button I was trying to decide if the upshot of the posted hand was "well played" or "poorly played."

And then I remembered it was between two 2+2ers, so I figured -someone- must have played it right, so I raised.

Standard. Nice hand.

Looks fine as long as the SB would bet a 5 or a heart draw. Raising would be bad if he wouldn't bet out without something decent to show down.

Standard. Nice hand.

I've yet to figure out, honestly, what it means when the plays I think are a little edgy or higher variance get called "standard."

I suspect I play too conservatively at times.
