I can honestly say that Poker is huge in the great northwest, there are plenty of places to play, both casino and home games. Maybe its because it rains so much up here, so everyone stays inside /images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's pretty amaizing whats taken place in the last couple of years.

The Pacific NW has become a popular place for poker. I'm happy to see that it's becomming a little more "mainstream" before, people used to look at me like I was some kind of villian when I said I was going to play in a poker tournament.

Ya, gonna have to find out more about the Washington State Poker Tournament.

I remember a few months back, the main story in the Seattle Times was about the "poker boom." Full-sized photo and story, ABOVE THE FOLD on A1. I was amazed. Poker was definitely taking of in the PNW when I left. Enjoy the new fish guys! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Let's not forget the LA Times Article that appeared just a few weeks ago. I think this is truly the Golden Age for players who are decent and have been playing before 2003.
