Skilling to Be Charged

Good, its about time. This guy is pure scum. I have done a lots of work with senior executives and there is simply no way that he was unaware of what Enron was doing - especially given how smart he was.

I was starting to worry that the government was going to drop the ball on this.

I'm not surprised it's taken this long to build a case against Skilling. IMO the round trip trading transactions were complicated and my take is that they needed Fastow's cooperation and ultimately Fastow's testimony to make their case against Skilling. I may be wrong but I have a hard time believing that JP Morgan and Citigroup didn't at least have some inkling about what was happening as well. Again I may be wrong but it sure looks to me that they probably helped facillitate the scam.
