Reading my books, now done with 6, and they speak of not too much bluffing at low limit.

Well at 3/6 I find that to be the opposite.

Playing by the book following folds to raises on the turn. Well it was happening too much so I changed tactics and started calling more with my hands. Mind you I called with real hands not Ace high or anything like that.

Low and behold I caught several bluffers. Usually up to 3 per table trying to pull some stunt with the low end card or notthing at all but ace high.

In 2 hours I caught 3 red handed, 2 called my bet even. One raised on a supposed straight to my trips and I raised. Folded promptly after that.

Don't know the exact percentage but its much higher than I expected.

Do you have the same experiences?

What the books probably mean is "don't bother bluffing, they call anyways and at low limit the pot size justifies them to do so."

Yes, I snap off many bluffs at lower limits. Most of which are draws that didn't make it.
