In huge letters:

"Texas Hold'em"

then underneath, in smaller print:

"Just like on TV"

Its an ad for the Stardust poker room. The billboard is just off I-15 and Spring Mountain (the off ramp to the Mirage).

I just thought it was very cool that some properties are cognizant of the TV impact and are actually spending marketing dollars trying to capitalize on it.

I saw the same sign in California a few days ago coming back from Disney (at least it sounds like the same sign). My wife pointed it out to me while I was driving.

I believe it's on I-15 just past Victorville on the way to Vegas.

The thing that was so cool was that the letters in TEXAS HOLD'EM were way bigger then the letters in the word Stardust. As if they are saying that Texas Hold'em is the star of the Strip.

I also got a kick out of the "just like on TV" line.

Best of Luck

Hey Clark, the best billboard in Vegas is the one on the strip that constantly runs video of Carrot-Top.

The $100 buy in no limit at Bellagio had WPT written under it, and Dave was telling folks, "yea you can play just like they do on tv for a hundred bucks."
