Ok, I know the river call was terrible... so we don't need to talk about that.. but how bout the flop.. was I too aggressive?

Flop: (5 SB) 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="blue">(5 players)</font>
SB checks, BB bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 3-bets, Hero caps, BB folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls.

MP1 bets, Hero calls.

Folding the river here would be terrible.

MP1's excessive flop action could easily be a bigger overpair, top pair or (unlikely) a straight trying to "punish" the flush draws. You're getting 11.5:1 on the river with your 7th nut (lol) flush, you have to call, even though you probably haven't won. With the board pairing, there's not much you can put MP1 on that you beat here except perhaps TT or JJ with no diamonds, but you have to make this river call as you've got there.
