My wifed and I are making our yearly trip with the family to Vegas next month. We stay downtown.

With Binions closed, are there any poker rooms in the downtown area?

Thanks,

Hi,

My understanding is that the Plaza is spreading a lot more games since the shutdown of Binion's. Including no-limit.

Besides the Plaza, The El Cortez has a very small (2 tables-ultra low-limits) poker area. Most people are not crazy about playing at the El Cortez. A rather run-down older casino. It can be fun at times though.

Binion's may be back in action next month so maybe they'll have their poker up and ready by the time you make your trip.

Regardless of where you play downtown, all the card rooms downtown are rather smoky.

I'd say check out the Plaza and hit a few card rooms on the Strip.

Ask about your poker comps where ever you decide to play.
Best of luck & have some fun!

Best

Howard
