I played 4-8 Hold'em at the Monte Carlo today. I didn't have much time to play and didn't want to wait and hour to get into a bigger game at the Mirage or Bellagio. It was nice playing at MC again.

The hand:

Four players limp to me and I limp with 7d5d. The blinds play and 7 players see the flop.

The flop is: 8d,5c,5h

Everboyd checks to me and I bet. The small blind calls. UTG calls. Three players see the turn.

The turn is: 8d,5c,5h,Ks

SB checks. UTG bets. I raise. SB folds. UTG calls.

What hand do you put UTG on?

The river is: 8d,5c,5h,Ks,Jc

UTG bets into me again. I raise again. UTG calls.

1. What do you think UTG has?

2. What do you think, UTG thinks I've got?

3. Who wins the pot.

I'm with Kevin utg has to have a K, probably KJ. You win.

I think he has KJ of hearts or diamonds. I think he hopes you have KQ, but now he's not sure, and you win.

Good luck,

He turns over AA and after you drag the pot with 5d7d he starts bitching about how he can't beat bad players and proceeds to dump a couple more racks into the game.

I was sure UTG had a King based on his turn bet/call. And KJ seemed most likely based on his river bet/call. But, it was not to be.

1. UTG had 88 for a flopped full-house. Don't ask me why he didn't bet/check-raise the flop or 3-bet me afterwards.

2. Actually, I can tell you why he never 3-bet me. He said he thought I had KK. Don't ask me why he thought that.

3. Of course, UTG took the pot. I was drawing to a 1-outer the whole time.

You know you're in a good game when . . .

I assume that he lost all his money to you on subsequent hands.
