Taj Poker Rates

I searched through the archives and found slightly conflicting reports on the Taj poker rates. Anyone have recent first-hand info on weekday/weekend rates and play requirements? I have played there quite a bit this year using my card and usually play 5/10. I tell you this only becasue I have read that play level has something to do with getting a room.

You will virtually never be able to get a poker rate room on weekends unless you play 20-40 or higher regularly (often they want even higher than that) and even then it is very difficult. As for weekday, regular play at 5-10 should be fine (I like going down on Sunday and taking Monday off work occasionally). Call 1-800-72-Poker and ask for Marcia. The rate is $65 plus tax. It can be fully comped ONLY if you can fully cover the cost with comp dollars (if you have like 40, u cant put it towards the $65 rate). Good luck, have fun.
