Good amount of money for a tracker...

Those of you that have it, is it worth buying if your serious about the game?

Definately.

Download the trial version that tracks 1000 hands and you'll be convinced.

If you take it seriously and use it well it's easily worth double that amount (just don't let Pat find out).

Yes, if you're serious about your game. This is a no-brainer.

The price was increased to $55 last month. I got it the night before the change /images/graemlins/smile.gif. Yes it's worth $55.

it's worth more than $55

The 2 major things it helps you with is:
(1) Shows detailed data about your play so you can find your leaks, i.e., explore the types of hands/situations you're losing money
(2) Shows detailed data about everyone you've played against.

i also like pokerstat www.pokerstat.com (http://www.pokerstat.com) but it doesn't do party

the replay hand feature lets u relive the thrill of a winning hand. the odds on turn and river are VERY informative.

Get the 1000 hand trial. If you do not think it's worth the $55, you should really re-examine whether or not you are, indeed, "serious about the game."

Like Sunshine said, it really is a no-brainer.

"but no ones ever really said how or why it would help u "

i think a lot of posters on here have given the specifics as to how it helps several times.
their comments on their own play (my p-tracker stats are showing blah blah blah.....is this % in my ptracker too high, blah blah blah).
it was pretty obvious to me that it could prove invaluable to my game once i finally got a computer that didn't freeze up every other hour.
i got p-tracker in mid-jan, the day after i got my new computer....(when the prcie was still $40) and i have already learned much about my game and my opponents and have improved my game dramatically by evaluatin my stats and plugging some holes.

i don't understand all these recent threads about 'should i get p-tracker'???
you can download it for a free-trial for 1k hands and see for yourself.
i bought the thing after only 100 hands in the trial-period because it was sooooo obvious it would help my game.

the only problem i have with it was the guilt involved with only paying $40 for something that was clearly worth much more than that.

No brainer. Download the 1000 hand trial, but the over/under on making the decision to buy it is probably more like 200 hands.

I do development, for anything less that $200 it's an abolute steal.

And with the note exporter (search the board) ... OMG!

My sentiments exactly. Pat is seriously underestimating the value of his work.

And yes, this is the first time in my life that I have felt something was too inexpensive.
