Got a recommendation from a money manager that has a great track record for this stock. Just passing it along, looks interesting. The money manager claims that it's undervalued by $5 to $10 a share and they've got a lot of cash to buyback stock. Of course do your own due diligence.
Resource America, Inc. is a specialized asset management company that uses industry-specific expertise to generate and administer investment opportunities for the Company and for outside investors in the energy, real estate finance, financial services and equipment leasing sectors. As a specialized asset manager, the Company seeks to develop investment vehicles in which outside investors invest along with it and for which it manages the assets acquired, pursuant to long-term management and operating agreements. Resource America limits its investment vehicles to investment areas where it owns existing operating companies or has specific expertise. The Company managed approximately $2.6 billion in assets as of September 30, 2003, as follows: $516 million of energy assets (20%), $682 million of real estate assets (27%), $1.3 billion of financial services assets (51%) and $63 million of equipment leasing assets.
