15-30 online. I'm UTG with black queens. Somehow I "misclick" and just limp. There's a loose MP who calls, and the cutoff raises. Button and small blind fold, but the big blind calls. MP also calls. Would anyone threebet preflop? So only four in the pot.

Flop is:

10/images/graemlins/spade.gif 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 10/images/graemlins/club.gif.

Not a great flop, but I bet. Loose MP calls and the cutoff raises and the big blind calls. I just call (?). Turn is:

[10/images/graemlins/spade.gif 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 10/images/graemlins/club.gif] 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

Checked to the cutoff who bets. BB calls and I raise. Comments?

hi mike
3 bet pre-flop. the turn raise is fine. i am assuming though that this is a live game.

3 bet preflop- i think defining your hand here would make post flop play much easier- also important to make loose middle position player call 2 cold behind you.
3 bet the flop to see where you are.

Excellent assumption, especially since the first thing in his post is:

15-30 online.

Both called my raise.

River was the:

[10/images/graemlins/spade.gif 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 10/images/graemlins/club.gif 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif]8/images/graemlins/spade.gif.

Checked around. My hand was good. Cutoff showed J/images/graemlins/spade.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, and BB had A/images/graemlins/spade.gif 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif.

Why would you not 3 bet this preflop? I 3 bet this every time and think about how lucky my misclick was.

I think this is an easy River value bet.

i have to assume the on-line games are live otherwise the only advice would be fold and hope you get some of your money back. i'm not going to advise dumping money into something that even if you win you can't cash-out of.

I might be wrong for maybe missing bets here, but I like betting out rather than ch/r on turn. Hard to argue with the extra bets you collected though.

Am I the only one who thinks the A9 BB should have mucked on turn?

Would you think if your A or 9 spiked you'd win against 2 players, or cost you many more chips?
