Paradise 2/4 full table. I have 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif UTG. I limp, UTG + 2 raises, BB and I call.

Flop: 7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

UTG + 2 bets out, BB calls, I call.

Turn: 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

BB folds /images/graemlins/confused.gif, I check, UTG + 2 bets out, I raise, he calls.

River: Q /images/graemlins/club.gif

I bet, he raises, I 3-bet, he caps /images/graemlins/mad.gif, I call.

What do you think?

Thanks,

Guido

I usually raise the flop here as the person with a bare 7 is likely to slowplay it. So I'm hoping to raising the flop then having UTG+2 check-raise me on the turn so I can 3-bet. If he 3-bets the flop, I'd probably smooth call and then pop the turn.

He only had 2 opponents and 1 is very unlikely to have a 7.
