here is one from Party 3-6
UtG+2 limps and I raise in the CO with A6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif's button and blinds fold and it is HU to the flop of
A85 rainbow. I get bet into and I raise wich gets called.
turn is 6. check call.
river is an 8. check check....
Thoughts?
Allan
I'd lay off the pfr unless UTG+2 was a special player (weak tight and loose preflop) and the blinds were tight but you played the hand fine postflop. I don't see a better hand folding the river.

I would have folded preflop, but if you want to play it the raise is a must. Rest of the hand looks ok.

So do you call or fold?

I like preflop.
I'd have flat called the flop with the intention of raising if I improve, betting if checked to, and calling otherwise.
I'd have bet the river.
I fold if UTG+2 is good, and while somewhat rare, I could see calling if UTG+2 is real bad but the blinds are quite loose and bad post-flop, but in general I think its raise or fold.

Its definitely not raise or fold. Its raise or call.
I suppose if UTG+2 won't limp with a better A the call is OK, but I tend to find that isn't the case often enough, but I'm no expert.
