SB bets, BB calls, Rico raises, MP3 folds, SB calls, BB calls

Turn(5 BB): 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif

SB checks, BB checks, Rico ????? What is my action?

Flop raise..good or bad?

Check. Your play on the flop was a free card play, and it worked. Take the free card. Easy check-fold on the river if you miss.

Betting is unlikely to drive out both players, and will probably leave you heads up at best, which is bad if you hit your draw on the river, since you want to get paid off by both players.

At the low limits, god only knows if your overcard outs are clean.

Agree with bdk, looks like a classic free card raise with a draw. No way you can fold getting 6:1 with 2 overcards/gutshot/backdoor flush. I hate calling when I am in good position and on a draw, so I raise, take the free card, and hope the river is loves me.

Plus your raise got rid of Mp3, giving you the "button". Well played.

With 2 players left, I think a check is best. If you got it down to 1, I might have fired another barrel on the turn.

You MAY be able to get non-tricky aggressive folk and solid types to fold the turn, but otherwise just check and take your "fee" ..err.. "free" card.
