A third tribe, based in western CT, has gotten federal recognition. The newspapers think they will try to build in Waterbury off 84 or Bridgeport off 95. This means they will have first chance to intercept a lot of the traffic heading east towards foxwoods/mohegan. I'm sure though there will be a few years of appeals and lawsuits first.
Most of CT isn't too happy, but it would be nice to have a poker room closer, if for no other reason than to shorten some of the wait times at foxwoods.
