It seems Hellmuth is playing .25/.50 NL at UB right now if anyone is interested. At least someone with the screename PhilHellmuth is. The waiting list for the table is about 15 deep. Is this a promotional thing or something?

He sat down at two of my tables the other night. He only stays at a table for about 10-15 mins.

I guess he does this just to get people to sit down and play. I guess its kind of cool saying that I beat Phil at one hand of poker =)

Hi,
I assume that he gets paid to play, but it is normal for UB (and other poker sites) do sponsor pro's. Amongst these pros I think Phil makes the a biggest effort to approach a wide range of limits - specially the micro's. I think that's admirable !
