Party .50/1 10 handed.

Sicc in LP is dealt A /images/graemlins/heart.gifA /images/graemlins/spade.gif
1 MP limper before me and I raise to $1. BB calls and limper calls 3 to the flop.

Flop 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gifK /images/graemlins/diamond.gifQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Checked to me I bet MP calls BB folds

Turn 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

MP checks Sicc bets MP raises Sicc calls

River 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

MP bets Sicc calls

Did I let the raise scare me too much? Comments please?

I think you played it fine. Maybe others will disagree with me, but I see no point in three-betting the turn when it's heads-up, since you may be drawing very thin. Although he could possibly be semi-bluffing with a flush-draw like Qxs, the risk of being reraised by 8x would not seem to make your raise worthwhile, unless you are prepared to fold to a potential turn cap.
