im currently working the monthly bonuses at intercasino and caribbeansun.

when i deposited money, i got 80$ and 100$ deposit bonuses that need to be cleared at the casino.

im not really confortable with wagering $1600 and $2000 at blackjack. seems like too big of a risk to me. i could end up losing all my money trying to clear these bonuses.

so i was wondering if this tactic would work or if its even allowed. im thinkin about wagering on roullette. i would just bet on black and red, or odd and even, therefore the wagers cancel and i wont risk any money(unless it lands on 00). i would just keep doing this until i reach 20x the bonus amount. is this possible?

No, wagering on roulette is specifically excluded from counting towards the playthrough requirement.

Generally:
- this is true of all casino bonuses; and
- read the bonus terms and conditions published on the site before going after any bonus.

how can it be too much of a risk when it is not even your money that your betting with? /images/graemlins/confused.gif Just download the ideal strategy for cyptologic BJ games, play $5 a hand and you'll meet the wager requirement in under 3 hours. I dont have the calculations handy that i did for inter but i believe the $80 bonus has a risk of ruin of around 35% and an expeceted return of around $67. If you are worried about losing money just be sure not to play after you lose your bonus money.....but remember that if you fail to meet the wager requirement that it carries over to the next bonus so keep track of your play.

play BJ with perfect basic strategy and you should be fine. I've done the Intercasino bonus for five months now and I've finished the BJ part with a profit every month.
I play the minimun $2 per hand though. What ever you do, do not try to use a negative progression where you increase your bet size after a loss...that's a recipe for going broke.
Let us know how you do!

I always cash-out all of my money before going into the casino to clear the bonus monies to prevent losing any of my money. If you go into the casino with $180 balance and withdrawal limit of $100 and you lose say $30. Then, your balance will be $150 with a withdrawal limit of $70.

I don't think that's right.

I deposited $150 and played poker to $204.50 before going into the Casino. My numbers were then $284.50/$204.50 balance/withdrawal-limit. I played 3 sessions of roughly 100 hands at $5 to clear the bonus. That's $1500 plus some doubledowns and splits I figured should be ~$1600(20x$80). The first time I quit I was at $309/$204.50 but the second time I quit I was at $246.50/$204.50. Thus, it never ate into my withdrawal limit even though I was down into the $80 bonus. When I cashed out after the third session I had $347/$347. I then went back out and finished the Poker bonus and am waiting for the Pin to cashout, which sucks.

I read in another thread this was how it worked and was the only reason I even considered playing the BlackJack bonus. I would have never knowingly risked a single $1 of my poker bankroll playing blackjack especially since I wasn't even quite done with the poker bonus. As far as I know and as far as their system showed I didn't.

Are you sure?

I read about 10 different threads on here before I tried it just to make sure I wasn't risking anything but the bonus.

Honestly, I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure. I could definitely be incorrect, but I certainly dont' want to risk my money to test it.

I do it the way stew does...clear the poker, cash out and then hit the casino.

I couldn't cashout because my Pin isn't here yet /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Thankfully it all worked out and I cleared the PokerPlex bonus, but, I unless their cashier showed it wrong ... and there was a thread here that convinced me to do it that said "all you risk is the bonus" so my plan was if I get down to $204.50, then stop.

Well I took the plunge and tried to clear the BJ bonus as always kept clear of Blackjack cos didnt know how to play properly and I knew it was in the houses favour.

Got the strategy from the site mentioned and armed with that sat down knowing if i lost $80 I would be out and forget about it, so started at $2 was doing ok so went up to $5 a hand up and down but never in any danger and have cleared the bonus with profit and so now have increased my bankroll by $213 /images/graemlins/cool.gif which I would never have even considered playing.

So thanks to the guys here for the suggestion and link to the strategy.

Why do you want to cash-out anyway. You should have seen the way the fishies were giving away their money after you left the 1/2 pound table last night. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

You should play blackjack with perfect basic strategy, you should at least clear your bonus.

Hang in there Stylish. Once the PIN comes cashouts are very quick.

You never risk your own money as they are one of the last to allow you to withdraw your original deposit if you lose your bonus.

Why everyone doesnt utilize this is one of lifes myteries. I've won several hundred dollars a few times with this bonus, and never risked anything /images/graemlins/grin.gif
