Ok, everyone knows that Party (and mirror sites) is out and out the best site if your goal is to make money. But I'm curious as to everyone's second favorite. Is there a place you go when you need a break from the monotony of Party? If so...where do you go, and how far is it behind Party in terms of the percentage of fishy players that play there? I've been using UB as a back up just cause I like to mess around with their promos and I like the software. I've been thinking that the skill of players should be more important and maybe I should hang out at Paradise occasionally? And I may mess around on TruePoker again one day. I really don't like the feel of Stars...sorry. What is your oppinion for second choice folks?

Purely for answering your question, I'd say Pacific, but I cannot bring myself to play there, it stinks.

i like the software on stars....and play enough low buy-in multi's there and freerolls as well as zoo tourneys and other 2+2 gatherings that i have to rate this my 2nd site.
i also play the occasional ring-game there when i already have 3 empire tables going (i haven't bothered to fund my party account for a little while so 4 or 5 tables on party is not an option currently). the ring-games are not too grossly tight during peak-hours.
the $3 re-buys on stars are pretty good and i will probably take a stab at the $11 re-buys soon (as per emark's suggestion).

i don't really play the SNG's on stars anymore except for the scheduled gatherings of 2+2'ers...but i might try them again as a change of pace from the party sng's.

now that stars is frequently hitting 8-10K players it seems there are plenty-enough fish to go around....but still not as many as party.

ub is my 3rd site....particularly due to the frequent re-loads of recent. but difficulty incorporating the hh's into pokertracker and a couple other things about the site that bug me still keep me from playing there more frequently.
additionally, i find that the low-limit ring-game play there is sometimes tighter than stars. maybe i'm running into a table full of 2+2 bonus-whores (which wouldn't surprise me).
tried my first SNG there and kind of liked it. some extremely fishy plays that really surprised me. i was expecting stronger competition.

haven't gone to paradise yet but with all the re-loads i suspect i may have to check it out soon.

played pacific and cleared a bonus awhile ago. it is possible i will consider returning to see if the fishy-est players on the planet are still congregating there.

i still spend about 80-90% of poker-time on party/empire though.

i generally go wherever there's a deposit bonus to be cleared. paradise is becoming my second favorite with all the new fish they've attracted, but for some reason more people sit out at the tables there than on any other server, which is annoying. UB is also good even though their bonuses are very annoying to clear at pot-limit and no-limit games. and absolute is nice because of their frequent bonuses and fish at low-limit hold 'em, and its software has improved from awful to acceptably bad. stars, i still don't want to play except for tournaments. their business plan simply doesn't attract fish.

pokerroom has a very juicy 25-50 holdem game. If you avoid about six regulars there three of whom are likely colluding.) But it doesn't matter, just avoid em.

Also has occasional good 10-20 game (not usually). The smaller games there are pretty good for lower limit players.

Pokerstars is nice to but some major sharks in the short games. Genuine real life upper middle limit (100-200). Lower limit games there seem very easy too but i haven't played much.

As a secondary site try pokerroom if you play limit holdem.

My 2nd favorite site is Intercasino. The have by far the worst 30-60, 50-100 and 100-200 players on the internet. Well in my opinion any way.

wow, who are the regulars that you think are colluding on pokerroom?
