A checkraise is the superior play.

The bad beat was that if you were first to make a royal
flush on ultimatebet instead, you would be collecting at
least a few hundred extra bucks. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Beatiful hand. Congrats. IMHO If I knew that everyone was going to go away, after you raise the turn, I would smooth call UTG to see the river and hope the river helps someone and they have something to bet with. Could have gotten at least one more bet. Damn nice hand. I need one

I had this hand happen to me last week or so.

$30/$60 B&M

I raise UTG with KsQs. Loose passive player calls on the button. LAG fish calls in SB. Tight passive BB calls.

Flop: Js 7x 4x (rainbow)

SB bets. He has a pair, or a gutshot+. BB calls. He has 65s. Thats all he can have. I take one off cause I feel like it. Button raises (oops). He has a jack. Everyone calls.

Turn: As

Its checked to the button who bets. He has AJ or a set. SB calls. He still has two cards. BB calls. He still has 65s. I call.

River: Ts

SB checks, BB bets. I raise. Button frowns and folds. SB folds. BB mutters something like "flush no good?" and thinks for a bit and just calls.

My hand is good.

I get a free scarf.

Also $950 pot.
