Go to..

Menu/Account/Character/Edit Mode
Choose the Guy in the Tux.

Then change your hometown by going to 'Nick'
and putting in Small Stakes, or I put, "It's a SS World"

F-me I hadn't seen a Pocket pair.

So I limped with QQ

Flop KKx

I bet the pot, LuckyGirl raises to 400
I call
I check
she puts me in and I call

Oh course she has the K

Didn't think she'd raise the flop

I suck at this NL $hit, sometimes.

68th,
JT

Sometimes, KQ will outdraw AQ. Not this time however... Sorry I didn't last longer guys. Good luck to everyone.

You know, I really felt good tonight. Been working on my NL tourney game.

I can't believe, I played it like that.

2nd hand I played, I was so patient.

Out in 64th or something, I played terribly I think. GoT took a bullet for me early when it was folded to Lori on the Button. She raised 3x the BB, and I was looking at ATo, planning on re-raising her. But then GoT made a pretty big re-raise. I folded, Flop was rags. GoT went all-in, Lori called, GoT had A9, Lori had AA.

My biggest mistake of the tourney was when the blinds were 50/100. I held 66 in MP and raised to 300, with a stack size of only about 1k. The BB called, and the Flop was QJ7. BB checked, I bet 1/2 my stack, BB went all-in, I folded, leaving myself with barely enough chips to put someone to a decision (350~).

A few hands later I put someone to a decision when I all-ined with J9o. Unfortunately it wasnt a very tough decision for his AQ, and I was out.

Hi Tosh,

No, we are getting crushed. /images/graemlins/frown.gif And yes, it started a few months ago and we've had 3 so far. The first 2 were limit tournaments with just the Zoo and SS and SS won both. This is the first NL one and there is also a new team, the Touns (Tournaments forum). Hope you can join us next time,

-Brian

At this moment we have 4 out of the top 5.

But they did F-up the blinds bad.

Peace,

Im playing the big tourney this evening which I think has a nice turnout. I make it to the first break in 17th place and am happy with the way things are going. The blinds are 100/200 and now at the break it looks as though they are going to go to 200/400 (These are moving way to fast) When the break is over I post my 1000 big blind. ????? I had a stack of 2200 a nice stack, I fold to a raise in the confusion and have 1200 left. By the next time the blinds get to me they eat the rest of my stack, I played no hands but my desperation last hand. This was a disaster. I hope we get a chance to do this again. If not Im done on True.

Im out 14th.

Out in something like 37th or 32nd. First my 66 loses to SB's KK - which severely crippled my stack (should've folded to SB's flop bet - but figured him for overcards - going over the top was a bad decision - especially since I had plenty of stack left at that point). Next my 99 loses to AT when an A comes on the flop and I'm done.

I was so patient for most of the tourney too, then just blew it. Oh well. Next time.

I was playing around way too much and it got me in trouble. I was trying to run over all the tight 2+2ers but it doesn't work too well when they have AA and KK. Out in the 70s somewhere.

ZOO and SS players:

Please accept our apologies for the problems which arose after the break with the Blinds and tables not collapsing properly. I felt it best to do the following, right after I apologize for the screw-up on our part.

1. Sorry about the error, we ran other tournaments concurrently without problem, so we will have to review this to see why this one unfortunately fell apart.

2. To make amends, Truepoker will do the following, refund buy-ins and fees from tonight's tournament and abort the tournament.

3 We will rerun the tournament without charge at a date and time at your choice.(It will be by your consensus whether to start with everyone or only those players still in play at the break. I will leave it to Mike to give me a direction on that.)

Please accept our apologies.
