A few years ago there was an article in Maxim that interviewed a professional gambler on what were some good bets to make. One of his bets was betting on every 12 seed in the ncaa tournament, something like $100 on each team. This is because you get pretty good odds on these games, and almost every year there is a 12 seed that upsets a 5 seed (except for last year, but the year before there were 3). Before last year it was something like 11 out of the last 12 years that at least one 12 seed had upset a 5 seed. I think it was if you win one bet you break even.
Does anybody else remember the details to this article? I think it was $100 on each 12 seed in the first round but can't remember for sure. If anyone can remember the details please post, as well as any other good bets on the NCAA tournament.
