Paradise $0.5/1. A bit tighter than Party.
A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif in LMP. Folded to MP who limps, I raise, BB and MP call.
Flop [9-9-9]. BB checks, MP bets, I raise, BB calls 2 cold and MP calls.
Turn is a 10. Check, check, check.
River - A /images/graemlins/heart.gif. BB bets, MP folds, I raise, BB 3-bets, I call.
Thoughts?
BB coldcalls two on the flop, to me that means either that he has the last 9 or an Ace. Unless he is one of them clueless players. then it means any two cards. I think he would have 3Bet if he had a pair, since its probably vulnerable(?) to overcards.
Turn: Given this read I would do the same.
River: BB bets when the Ace hits= He has the 9, Ace or nothing at all.
If he has nothing he wont call a raise. If he has the 9 he will ram and jam. If he have the Ace he will probably do the same.
So since you dont really gain anything by raising unless he is a retard, then I would just call.

BB had K-9o for flopped quads.
I believe the odds are something like 1 in 19600 to flop quads without a pocket pair. Gee, I feel so honored to have taken part in such a wonderfully rare event. /images/graemlins/frown.gif
