Here's the thing Trix. I'd probably check through the flop. So that would change everything. Especially if your opponent bets out on this turn.

If I check flop through, whats my play on the turn when a blank, the king(prolly doesnt chance much, but looks scary /images/graemlins/grin.gif ) or a diamond comes ?

If a diamond or King hits and he bets out, mostlikely you can fold. If a blank hits I feel it'll be a raise or fold situation, dont' you?

I'm going to rethink this hand. I may have responded too quickly and now I'm liking your flop bet but maybe a turn check-through once he calls.

I think this hand is more interesting that it intially reads.

I think you played it fine. Once he failed to fold the turn you thought process is correct by checking through the river.
