3/6 HE at an Indian Casino, game is very loose, and mostly Weak calling stations. Two people that seem fairly skilled, rest are hopeless.

Hand #1
4 Limp to me, I limp with 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif on the button. SB calls, BB checks.
(Note: this is very common preflop. 3-5 limpers, and checked by the BB.. any raises pre-flop seem to indicate a Monster by all but a hyper-aggressive kid three seats to my left.)

Flop: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif
All check to me, I bet my double gutshot, 4 call.
(I like betting draws on the flop in LP in this game, as everyone seems stuck to the "Check to the Raiser" mindset)

Turn: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Checked to me, I happily check behind. As I check, the guy to my right seems to wince.

River: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif Backdoor flush gets there. Three check, guy on my right bets. I think for a second and call. Two call behind. Bettor turns over A6o, and my Flush takes it. (Callers have Q3s and KJo)

Questions:
Is it correct to limp with Suited Semiconnectors such as J9, T8, 97, 86 in LP in such a game?

(My more pressing question) Should I have raised on the river? If I had raised, I think the KJ would've called, Q3 would've folded, and the original bettor would've called with his A6. So, I'd have won 1 extra BB, but I thought there was a moderate chance that the Bettor checked a Full House on the Turn, attempting to C/R. He *was* trying to C/R, just not with the Boat. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Anyways, I picked up $100 in 5 hours in that game without picking up many hands. Driving the 2 hours again in a couple days.

The preflop limp is standard on the button with 4 limpers in front of you.

Hm...with three to act behind, I still think I raise. If eveyone behind you calls, you make 3BB. If you raise and one person calls along with the original bettor, you also gain 3BB. Therefore, if you raise and get more than one caller here you profit. Also, I think you would have heard from a full house by now, and if it so happens that someone's got one, you should have lost more chips.

I might be blind, but isnt that a pure gutshot on the flop?

you aren't blind, it is only a single gutshot.

Sorry, typo.. flop was 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 6 /images/graemlins/club.gif and I copy/pasted the flop before the turn/river to save time. My bad.

Ok, with the whole gutshot issue resolved, I'll answer as I should have in the first post.

The limp seems fine.

As for the river, I feel a full house is unlikely given the flop action. If the "guy to your right" had 2 pair or set on the flop I think the action would have been different.
I would make the decision to raise based on whether or not the river checkers would call 2 cold on the river with a flush out there and a paired board, then its an easy raise IMO. But, if you don't think anybody will pay off the 2 bets except the bettor, its best to just call and hope for a few overcalls.
